Cold, lukewarm, hot

Are degrees;

In God's Word

Do you believe

To straddle the fence

In the Bible, not found!

Believers must stand

On solid ground.

Jesus prefers

Either cold or hot!

Lukewarm confess but

In heart believe not.

Having God's Word spoken

With no action behind

Of searching the Sriptures

For the "Truth" to find.

Heaven's not open

To believers of lies,

Tradition is not what

God says to go by.

When you love someone,

How's it expressed

Shown through your actions,

Is the verb addressed

If you know actions

Speak louder than words,

Show love, put action,

Let God know He's heard!

The action being...

The "Truth" do seek

Uncover traditions,

Lies that are weak.

Such as "apple seeds"

And "talking snakes",

Covered by "fig leaves",

The deed of the fake!

He loves God's children

Believing his lies,

He's laughing at you

He wants you to die

When Jesus walked earth

He denounced what He saw

Tradition, man's rules,

Being added to "Law".

Those stumbling blocks

That were put in man's way,

Which closed Heaven's gates

To those who obeyed !

You're being lukewarm

If God's "Truth" you read,

Live by "traditions"

Shows "Truth" unbelieved !

Can't have it both ways

Can't straddle the fence,

Being lukewarm towards God

Is considered offense

To be cold towards Christ

Your chances are better,

Than being lukewarm cause

You don't know God's "Letter".

It's best to be HOT

With "Truth" being sought

Obedient to God,

By "The Way" being taught

Have Truth sown in heart

The "Truth" you will find

Reading Genesis nine and twenty-two

Asking myself "What did Canaan do"

For Noah to curse him in nine and twenty-five

When Ham was the one in his tent to arrive.

I went to Leviticus twenty and seventeen,

Trying to find what does "see nakedness" mean

It meant "uncover nakedness", very wicked I read

For it would place Ham in his father's bed!

Leviticus twenty and eleven's precise,

To lay with dad's wife,

"Uncovers dad's nakedness"

Definitely not nice!

Noah cursed Cannaan to be a servant to his brothers,

But specifies his servitude to others;

Servant to Shem and Japheth, "Noah said".

Are they his uncles or his brothers instead?

How beautiful the evening sky

The Christmas lights

Across buildings so high.

The pure white snow

That blankets the ground,

The people rushing

Homeward bound.

I'm not in a hurry

I'm taking my time

As I stroll home

I clear my mind.

I open my heart

Let those "heart eyes" see

The beautiful gifts

God's given me.

Thank you Father

For what you've done

To a sinful world

You sent your Son.

Because of your love

We can be set free

Thank you Father

For loving me!

Thank you Father

For your care,

Job, shelter, food,

My health, fresh air.

I love you Father

And all you've done,

All your creations

Under the sun.

(H) eaven on high

(A) nother day down as

(N) ight fills the sky.

(K) eep me Father in

(Y) our good grace, in your

(O) utstreched arms, the

(U) ltimate place!

When work is done

It's my special time

To open my heart

And clear my mind.

That's what I do

As I stroll home

Walking with my Father...........

I'll never go wrong!
